Coffee Party Mission Statement: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

The Boise Coffee Party has met several times since the first meeting on March 13, 2010. We have focus groups exploring issues such as the economy, the environment, education, and human rights.

Come to our next meeting on Thursday, July 15 at 530p. We will be talking about "The Story of an Idaho Bill" as we tour the capitol. Our hosts will be candidate for senate Representative Branden Durst, candidate for Lt. Governor Eldon Wallace, and candidate for senate Senator Nicole LeFavour.

We are also encouraging our Coffee Party members to attend the ACLU's upcoming Civil Rights series of movies at The Flicks.
